This pamphlet is in very good condition. ; In the year 1953, the new United States Administration under president Eisenhower made an unnoficial and secret effort to start peace negotiations between Egypt and Israel. Ben-Gurion stated " We did not want the first war in 1948. It was forced upon us by the Arab rulers. He believed that maintaining the peace was preferable to victory in war. His aspiration had always been to rebuild the ruins of his homeland, to gather the children of his scattered people, to build a model state, to cooperate with neighbors" etc. ; 64pp pages
