Tiny nick top spine else very good+. ; This book was dedicated to the author's son who died in World War II, Second Lieutenant, J. Donald Gresham. There is a tipped plate of the author's son. The main purpose of the author writing this book was to provide funds to get an organization under way dedicated to the task of making a better returning day for the soldiers that came home. The author wanted to make sure that those who came home from the war would be spared the humiliation of selling apples on the streets, waiting in line for bread or stealing for a living. With the hope that these ends would be accomplished, the proceeds from the book was dedicated by the author. ; Tipped Frontispiece; 175pp pages
